Sometime in the night, we’d shifted.

Colton was on his back, his arm tucked up under his head, with his other hand low on my hip.

I tried to slip out of his grip, but he tugged me closer and growled, “Where are you going?”

“Sleep. I’ll be right back.” It was a promise, one I hadn’t really meant to make. But one I was absolutely going to keep. I wasn’t ready to get up, to face the light of day.

“Good morning.”

Lifting my leg to wrap it around his waist, I pulled him closer and ground against him. “It certainly is.”

He lifted me easily and carried me back to the bed. “I wasn’t sure you’d be up for more. Not after last night.”

I groaned as he slid against my folds, teasing me, making me want more again already. “For someone who promised me a long time of hot sex, you seem surprised I’d want more.”

He filled me slowly, taking his time this morning, as he kissed and touched. He toyed with my breasts, sucking each nipple into hard, tender points. His thrusting stayed slow, but it didn’t do anything to slow down my climax from building low in my belly.

It was the look in his eyes that surprised me though. This didn’t feel like just a casual fuck, a way for us to both get off.

The way he was looking at me, I almost believed he could be in love.

Colton held my gaze, even when part of me wanted to look away, to close my eyes, to break the intensity growing between us.
